First off, with all things being equal, potentially one in every 10-20 visitors to this site is a sociopath … and probably not very happy as to what this site — and others like it — reveal. So, when I began this site, less than two months ago, I suspected that if I did receive a sociopath visitor or two, I just may also receive a sociopath comment or two.

You know, maybe they’d help out with some insider tips … such as early detection techniques for spotting or identifying the office sociopath … including step-by-step instructions on how to run faster than a gazelle.

But wait … you don’t think they’d lie to us, do you?

Well, I think we’ve possibly got a winner … our first sociopath visitor, who has taken the time to comment, has provided insight … but not exactly what I was hoping for. The IP address of the author, signed as Ignacio, is from a location I’ve never been to, nor know anyone from.

COMMENT:
“Good one mister one upper. You were obviously the most annoying sibling. It just sounds like you’re diagnosing everyone elses problems but your own.” — Ignacio

REPLY TO COMMENT:
Geez, I’m surprised you got it backwards, Mr. Ignacio.

Frankly, this site is all about my problems. You see, I have multiple sociopaths deliberately scheming to destroy any quality of life I have remaining. And I do mean “remaining” since they’ve been at it for years.

And with the over-abundance of skill they share, along with some extremely gullible followers, they’ve been quite successful. Come to think of it: did one of them put you up to this?

In any event, thanks for taking the time to write.

Other than the levity I simply could not avoid, that is a real comment that was very recently submitted by someone who indicated their name as Ignacio, the name that would have appeared with his comment if I published it with the post he added it to. And as the title implies, I obviously do not know if this person is a sociopath.

But, this post leaves one more question unanswered: the post he added this comment to does not mention my siblings anywhere. The post he did use, Psychopath/Sociopath: Similarities Outweigh Differences, is an attempt to define the difference between the two terms: psychopath and sociopath.
