GLOSSARY
| bad gene :: | The “cause” of psychopathy. A term I use to simplify something very complex. My simplified term for the cause of personality disorders, such as ASPD, NPD, etc., describing a very complex genetic structure and brain abnormalities leading to a potential diagnosis of psychopathy. | disciple :: | An extremely loyal follower of a sociopath. I coined this term to identify a sub-trait. Realizing that not all sociopath followers are alike, a small percentage seem to adore the sociopath they serve. In as much, they ![]() |
| hostility-throttle :: | Quantifying revenge. I coined this term to identify a sub-trait. Consider a sociopath’s previous malicious acts — going back years — that they’ve been able to get away with. Some will include very real crimes. That’s what sets their hostility throttle in regards to offensive-revenge. If a sociopath (psychopath) has gotten away with some heinous crimes, and they think you have the ability to expose them (whether you do or not) their revenge will likely be based on what they have done (that you are unaware of) and what they’d have to lose if exposed. |
| indirect-homicide :: | The worst outcome of a sociopath’s victim. I coined this term to identify a sub-trait. As it states, the terrible outcome would end in the death of the victim who was made an outcast, a pariah … someone so terrible that even their closest friends and family would end up believing the lies about them, and cutting off all communication. Eventually, that victim would be so alone and distraught, shamed and depressed, that they could experience a physical response from their emotional stress, such as a heart attack, or sadly ending their own lives. |
| offensive-revenge :: | Revenge prior to an act, based on paranoia. I coined this term to identify a sub-trait. If a sociopath has the belief, based on their own paranoia, one of their disciple’s stories, or any other event that makes them nervous about some individual — someone who may know too much — |
